Our Expertise in Energy Solutions

Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO)

HFO is used in various industries for its high energy output and cost-effectiveness. 

Power plants: HFO is a key fuel for large-scale power generation, where it is used in power plants to produce electricity.


Industrial heating: Boilers, kilns and furnaces in industries like metal smelting and ceramics, use HFO to produce process heat.


Marine Industry: Large ships use HFO as the principal fuel for the engines and steam boilers onboard.


 Our HFO supplies meet the KEBS requirements of Kinematic viscosity @  50°C of 180 cst maximum, pour point of  27°C maximum, sulphur content of 2.3% maximum and a net calorific value of 41MJ/kg minimum.


Industrial Diesel Oil (IDO)

Industrial Diesel Oil (IDO) is a blend of diesel and heavy fuel oil and is mainly used for heating, generating power and water/steam boilers in small industrial and hospitality applications. The main advantage of IDO is the lower price over diesel.


The KEBS requirements for IDO are Kinematic viscosity @ 400C of 10 cst maximum, pour point of 150C maximum, sulphur content of 1.8% maximum and a gross calorific value of 44.8MJ/kg minimum.

Bulk Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)

HSL Optima Ltd supplies safe and efficient Bulk LPG for both commercial and domestic use.

Fuel tank leasing involves renting a fuel tank, often on a short or long-term basis, for cost-effective and flexible fuel storage without the upfront cost of purchasing. This option provides various benefits, such as access to different sizes, lower initial investment, and maintenance included in the lease, making it ideal for projects or businesses needing temporary or on-demand fuel storage.


We at the same time sign a supply contract to maintain minimum levels of fuel as per the customer daily, weekly or monthly requirements .
